Major Duties

• Responsible for developing, standardizing and coordinating various aspects of the supply management process.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving difficult and complex problems associated with a comprehensive supply compliance program, and applying advanced diagnostic techniques to identify root causes and resolve highly complex.
• Responsible for interrelated system or data vulnerabilities to ensure audit readiness and sustainment.
• Extracts, queries, and analyzes complex data from enterprise and warehouse management systems (e.g., WMS, S4/HANA, EWM) to identify adverse operational trends, evaluate compliance, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Coordinates with and advises managers, supervisors, and employees on audit requirements and expectations.
• Monitors, researches and analyzes new and changing guidelines, regulations, decisions and directives to determine effect on distribution operations, programs and/or internal review operations.

Qualification Summary

To qualify for a Supply Management Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Analyzing program data/interrelationships and coordinating the preparation of accurate and reasonable program plans and proposals. Extracting, querying, and analyzing complex data from automated enterprise or warehouse management systems to identify operational trends and deficiencies. Developing detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range plans and/or developing criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of command distribution programs. Applying advanced diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot interrelated system vulnerabilities, determine root causes, and resolve multifaceted supply and distribution challenges. Investigating and analyzing a variety of distribution problems, conditions, or questions, formulating projects or studies, and establishing criteria for the assigned specialization area. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Compensation:
$102,415-$133,142 per year
