Child Nutrition Supervisor

Assists with special projects relating to child nutrition supervision and supports. Qualifications: WV School Nutrition Director Certificate Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2.5 GPA required including six semester hours of coursework related to nutrition, food, and/or food service management, or WVDE approved training as provided by the Office of Child Nutrition within 90 days of the start date. Provide evidence of at least eight hours of food safety training obtained no more than 5 years prior to or within 30 days of the start date. Receive recommendation of the superintendent verifying that the selected candidate is the most qualified candidate for the position. Ability to oversee program and communicate effectively with Central Office personnel, school, administrators, school nutrition staff and vendors. Knowledge of child nutrition regulations and procedures Complete all required county and WVDE trainings The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations Additional Minimum Requirements: Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration. Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration. Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration. Start date: Effective September 15, 2026 for the remainder of the 2026-2027 School not to exceed 90 days. Salary: Daily rate of pay based on the Central Office Extended Year Personnel salary scale, certification, and experience.
