Maintenance Technician ($22-26/hour)

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production machines that create a variety of condiments, including BBQ sauce, mustard, jams, and syrups. Your work will involve reading blueprints and schematics to effectively repair batching machines, conveyor systems, and packing machines. You will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical repairs, which include replacing motors and troubleshooting PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production machines used in condiment manufacturing.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on batching, conveyor, and packing machines.
• Troubleshoot and replace electric motors as needed.
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to address issues with production machinery.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled production facility, which can be hot in the summers and cooler in the winters. The position offers a 2nd shift from 4 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Friday, and a 1st shift from 6 AM to 4:30 PM. Employees can choose one 12-hour shift per week and there are ample opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
