Trust and Estates Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Trust and Estates Litigation Attorney in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trust and estate litigation and a passion for advising clients on a wide range of related issues. Duties Represent senior citizens and their families in financial elder abuse litigation. Handle trust and probate litigation for trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries. Address contests based on lack of capacity, undue influence, or fraud. Manage cases involving negligent asset management and inadequate accounting. Resolve co-trustee disputes and removal and surcharge actions. Address breaches of fiduciary duty, including lack of impartiality and self-dealing. Supervise and mentor associates. Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the State Bar of California. Minimum of 6 years of experience in trust and estate litigation. Strong analytical, negotiation, consulting, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
