Location Raleigh, North Carolina Atlanta, Georgia Charlotte, North Carolina Key Responsibilities Under supervision, complete civil engineering designs and generate professional plans, specifications, technical calculations, exhibits, and reports in the following areas: Site Layout, Grading, Storm Drainage, Water & Sewer Utilities Erosion and Sediment Control Storm Water Best Management Practices Variety of Civil 3D Plans, exhibits, and technical deliverables Municipal and State permitting Client Support Evaluate design to solve constructability, municipal code, and site challenges. Coordinate with Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers. Perform site visits to scope work and coordinate with survey crews, SUE, Geotech, etc. Provide periodic construction support, including review of RFIs and shop drawings, field inspections, etc. Education & Certification Required: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months. Skills & Experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self‑starter who can work independently and with team members. Ability to engage in multiple projects and deliver successful requirements. Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills. Proactive troubleshooting and problem‑solving with client‑focused solutions. Experience dealing with regulatory agencies and review professionals. 3–8+ years of related civil engineering experience. Computer skills: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, MS Office.
