The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Typically work on semi-routine assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator onsite at the Sun City clinic.Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at:14813 N Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351The Medical Assistant discusses symptoms, obtains vital signs, administers medications and vaccines, performs phlebotomy, collects specimens, conducts screening tests, sterilizes equipment, maintains exam rooms, documents in electronic records, and collaborates with providers within certification limits.Use your skills to make an impactRequired:You will have complete a MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderYou Will have a High school diploma or equivalentYou will be CPR CertifiedYou will be patient facing and run the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.Ideal Candidate:You will be Certified or Registered – (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina you require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)You will have Phlebotomy experience• Medication/vaccine administration experience1+ years MA experienceYou will have value-based care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.You will be Bilingual proficient in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam before foreign language communicationScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $43,000 - $56,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
