CNC Machine Operators

Openwork is assisting a local client in their search to find Machine Operators in Smyrna. As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating a CNC machine to make firearms and related products. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below. Responsibilities Machine Setup and Operation: Setting up machines to start a production cycle and operating machining equipment safely alongside a team of operators. Technical Interpretation: Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand part specifications. Precision Measurement: Using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure parts meet exact dimensional requirements. Quality Control: Performing visual inspections and quality control sampling to verify conformance to strict quality standards. Equipment Calibration: Calibrating, testing, and adjusting machine settings or controls in preparation for production operations. Troubleshooting: Monitoring machines during operation to detect malfunctions or excessive vibration and adjusting settings to eliminate problems. Documentation: Updating daily production logs and informing management of any production incidents or non-conformance issues. Material Management: Replenishing materials and supplies as needed to maintain a continuous production flow. Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety standards in production, including proper use of power tools and following emergency shutdown protocols Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years of related experience. Clean criminal background.
