Test Engineer

Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement product validation and production test procedures. Create and maintain test plans, test specifications, and test documentation. Develop automated and manual test methods to verify product functionality and performance. Perform electrical, mechanical, functional, environmental, and reliability testing. Analyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports. Investigate product failures and perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies. Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Production teams to resolve technical issues. Validate engineering changes, product improvements, and new product introductions (NPI). Support development and maintenance of test fixtures, equipment, and automation systems. Troubleshoot test equipment, instrumentation, and manufacturing test stations. Recommend improvements to increase product reliability, testing efficiency, and manufacturing yield. Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Participate in Design Reviews, FMEA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain calibration records and ensure testing equipment is operating correctly. Support customer investigations and field failure analysis when required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline 2+ years of experience in a Test Engineer, Validation Engineer, Product Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or similar role Experience developing and executing test plans and validation procedures Experience with LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB, NI TestStand, or automated test systems #J-18808-Ljbffr L2x Talent Solutions
