Job responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.
• Adapt recipes for special dietary needs or preferences as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or catering environment, with knowledge of meal preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards and practices is preferred.
• Strong understanding of food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.
