Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse specializing in cardiac care in Evansville, Indiana. This position involves caring for a patient population including those with medical conditions, cardiac issues, pre- and post-coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, arrhythmias, heart failure, and stroke overflow. The unit has 28 beds with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: No minimum experience required; valid nursing license in Indiana; good standing in professional licensing; CPR certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a cardiac or progressive care setting
• Additional Information: The nurse will provide direct patient care including monitoring, assessments, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating strong clinical skills and compassionate patient care.
