Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is seeking to hire an experienced Machine Operator to join a dynamic team in the Canton, MA area. This role operates on A shift, which includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday from 6 PM to 6 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and support a PLC-controlled 120-inch wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line.
• Manage the setup, operation, breakdown, and cleaning of all machine components, while developing optimal processing parameters to enhance line speeds and yields.
• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials to designated workstations.
• Conduct thorough quality reviews of products at assigned workstations.
• Adhere to all company policies, including environmental policies, and promptly report any concerns affecting the work area or company property.
• Perform various tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in plastics, vinyl coating, lamination, or printing production is highly desirable.
• Proficient in reading and writing English.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with operating a touch-screen (PLC) production line.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to tolerate extreme temperatures.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Flexibility to cover any shift with prior notification.
