Your Responsibilities as an HVAC Service Technician

As an HVAC Service Technician, you are vital in taking care of our clients by providing them with the highest-quality service and maintenance of their home's HVAC systems.

• Deliver World-Class Service - Deliver an amazing experience for our customers.
• Troubleshoot and Provide System Maintenance - Consult with clients regarding their heating and air conditioning systems, understand their concerns, and diagnose and fix the issue correctly.
• Advise on System Upgrades, Improvements, and Service Plans - Help customers uncover additional opportunities and needs related to their home comfort and air quality while offering your expert recommendation for the best solution.
• Continuous Improvement - Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly Aire Serv coaching and development sessions.

Job Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

• Experience in residential HVAC of 2 years or more
• EPA 608 Certification
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and office team
• Professional personal appearance
• Industry Certifications (NATE etc.) are preferred but not required
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Ability to take direction and follow written and verbal directions as given
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to utilize mobile device throughout the workday
• Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment
• Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
• Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required

Benefits & Pay

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $25.00 to $38.00 and depends on your experience and knowledge as an HVAC service technician. We believe technicians should always understand how they are paid and how to grow their earnings. We use a clear performance scorecard, so expectations are transparent and achievable.
