Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Part‑time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work‑ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask. Specific job responsibilities Greet and seat patients Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor Set up trays as indicated by the day’s charts Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance Assist chairside using four‑handed dentistry Enter treatment plansTake x‑rays as needed Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient Take alginates/pour and trim models Package and sterilize instruments Keep operatory fully stocked Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Superior customer service skills Willingness to learn & grow A desire to become part of our family-oriented team & support our mission to deliver the best patient experience possible! Ability to reliably commute to the office location in West Hartford , CT Available to work during current office hours Monday – Thursday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Every 3rd week of the month: Tuesday off and Wednesday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Preferred Qualities Dental office experience Dentrix Ascend software experience X‑Ray and ICE certification Able to speak English and Spanish fluently #J-18808-Ljbffr
