Day Porter - Janitorial (Weekend Only)

Part Time Day Porter Property Address: 10511-10543 4S Commons Dr., San Diego, CA 92127 Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm Pay: $17.25 per hour Responsibilities Pick up trash as needed and empty trash receptacles. Perform cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning cobwebs, wiping down surfaces, restroom cleaning, etc. Clean exterior surfaces of windows, windowsills, and doors. Remove and/or clean up any debris or soil such as stickers, chewing gum, coffee spills, graffiti, etc. Continuously walk the property to inspect all public areas for cleanliness. Notify the supervisor in case there is a need for repairs. Always wear the appropriate safety equipment for the task, including gloves, goggles, safety vest, and any other safety equipment required. Qualifications Janitorial experience preferred. Outstanding communication skills. Punctual and dependable. Reliable transportation. Ability to work independently. Ability to stand for extended periods. Meet the physical requirements: constantly walking, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, reaching over the shoulder, lifting, and carrying. Constant weight – 1-35 lbs. Occasional weight – 36-50 lbs. Detail-oriented. Ability to identify and manage priorities. Ability to complete the physical requirements of the job. Day porter/janitor/custodian experience preferred. Physical Requirements Constant need (100% during production time) to be on foot. Ability to bend/stoop/squat/kneel. Climb the stairs.
