What You'll Do As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will: * Provide engaging therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and daily living skills.* Carry out individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
* Track patient progress and communicate updates or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
* Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, home exercise programs, and safety strategies to support continued success outside of therapy.
* Complete accurate and timely documentation of treatments, progress, and patient outcomes.
* Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.
* Help create a safe, positive, and encouraging therapy environment where patients can thrive. What We're Looking For * Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
* Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation principles.
* Experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care, or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
* Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
* Inpatient and outpatient therapy experience is beneficial.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
