Job Summary:

The Warranty Claim/Service Assistant will perform various routine clerical duties regarding motor vehicles in support of the service location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service including scheduling.
• Submit warranty claims from service order and customers.
• Process customer transactions for service.
• Communicate to appropriate offices regarding warranty; includes Virginia and West Virginia locations.
• Process payments and billing.
• Provide status updates.
• Communicate with service manager, technicians, and salesmen on units.
• Locate parts and add to service orders; communicate with parts department.
• Performs clerical duties including data entry, filing, and completion of simple forms.
• Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
• Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience that helps:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Warranty claim experience
• Service scheduling experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
