Midvale Blvd - Madison, Wisconsin 53705Position SummaryThis role is responsible to work independently to prepare food, fry, package, display, and stock Bakery products; to ensure that you contribute to the financial best interest of the store. Additionally, this role is responsible for meeting company guidelines for guest experience, as well as complying with company guidelines for safety and food safety.Here's What You'll DoPrepare and produce bakery products to production plannerPackage and label bakery products per program planMerchandise bakery products per flight plan/merchandising expectationsStock backroom with bakery products – rotating and dating cases/bucketsNotify the bakery manager if products and supplies need to be orderedWork as a team with other departments and stores to achieve growth in our SpartanNash retail storesUnderstand basic functions of adding, subtracting, multiplying and divisionCommunicate tasks, recipes, weights and measures, and cleaning steps completed to other associatesFollow all PPE and safety guidelinesFollow all food safety and cleaning expectationsFollow guest experience guidelinesMay be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as neededHere's What You'll NeedHigh school diploma (GED) preferredOne year of retail or related experience preferredAbility to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documentsBasic mathematical skillsDetail orientedPhysical requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
