Title Luxury Fashion and Timepiece Manager Reports To General Manager or Assistant General Manager in their absence Basic Function The Luxury Fashion and Timepiece Manager is a supporting management position within Jared Jewelers stores. The position achieves store and individual sales goals by providing a superior guest experience and expert knowledge on all fashion merchandise (diamond fashion, gold, and color) and timepiece brands. Responsibilities include overseeing fashion and timepiece sales performance, executing product launches, implementing product education, and developing training plans for the store team. Minimum Requirements Meet or exceed three of the five performance standards. Sales must be one of the three. No Code of Conduct written counseling within the past six months. DCA certified. Minimum six months with the company or similar experience at another company. Completion of the Minimum Training Requirements training module and quiz with a passing score. Responsibilities Serve guests and promote store and personal sales (40% of time). Consistently attain sales and performance standards, special event and store promotion results. Maintain an environment of total guest satisfaction by prioritizing guests’ needs and providing exceptional service through proper follow‑up and the Clienteling system. Monitor guest flow and coordinate appropriate team member assignments. Supervise fashion merchandise categories (diamond fashion, gold, and color) and timepiece brands; train all team members on product features, benefits, warranties, and services. Oversee implementation and administration of fashion and timepiece merchandise, including promotions, incentives, launch executions, visual displays, and merchandising. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all fashion and timepiece merchandise, acting as the subject‑matter expert for training. Serve as a point of contact with vendor partners and ensure completion of all vendor trainings, eLearnings, and incentive submissions. Review weekly fashion and timepiece reporting, evaluate areas of opportunity, and coordinate with the management team to develop effective training plans. Collaborate with the General Manager on recruiting, hiring, scheduling, performance appraisals, counseling, and team member concerns. Communicate relevant personnel, security, merchandising needs, and other pertinent information to the General Manager. Respond promptly and courteously to guest complaints and issues in partnership with the General Manager. Assist the management team with primary responsibilities in their absence. Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Loss Prevention, Sales, and Credit policies, and maintain a high level of security awareness with all selling procedures. Physical Demands Must possess the ability to stand for long periods, reach with hands and arms, move among display cases, handle and feel merchandise, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and move up to 10 pounds, and see well enough to discern differences in quality of merchandise. Work Schedule As required by the store to include evenings and weekends. Three nights per week or as required by the General Manager. Sunday on an alternating basis or as needed. Store hours during Special Events and key selling times of the year. Compensation Base pay: $15.75 – $20.10 per hour plus commission on sales. Final pay rate is determined and based on experience and qualifications.
