Job Overview Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Cyber Incident Response Associate Attorney in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and involves handling cybersecurity and data privacy incidents. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing legal guidance and support to clients. Duties Respond to cybersecurity and data privacy incidents. Analyze state, federal, and international data breach and privacy laws. Draft legal notices of data breaches to individuals and regulators. Respond to regulatory investigations related to data breaches. Oversee forensic investigations and third‑party vendors for e‑Discovery. Advise clients on legal notification obligations under State/Federal laws. Draft breach notification letters and crisis communications. Interface with clients, including senior management and IT staff. Prepare legal budgets and reports to insurance carriers and clients. Requirements JD from an accredited law school. Admitted to Bar in good standing. 3+ years of legal experience, with a focus on data privacy and security. Strong knowledge of data breach and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). IT or technical background is a plus. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Team player. Benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan.
