Job Summary
Medical Surgical With Telemetry Registered Nurse Madison, Wisconsin
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS/Tele) role to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within an inpatient setting. The position supports adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs while partnering with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based practice. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts, 07001930; weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need; minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA) required); Wisconsin Registered Nurse (WI RN) or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty being submitted to (2 years); Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience (Epic required)
• Preferred Qualifications: Community Hospital experience
• Additional Information:
  • Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start; pass/fail testing with strict passing criteria is required prior to beginning.
  • Telemetry testing includes required adult and pediatric exam components with two attempts; if the second attempt is not successful, a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course is required prior to a third attempt.
  • Float may be required to other units as needed.
  • Weekend coverage is required based on operational need.
  • Charting is completed in Epic.
  • Flu vaccination is required (medical or religious exemptions only).
  • Start date is scheduled for 07/20/2026 (sooner may be needed).
