Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Job Summary: The maintenance mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of machinery and facilities to ensure continuous and safe operation. This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) on production and facility equipment.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues and implements repairs.
• Troubleshoots and repairs/replaces motors, pumps, gearboxes and other industrial equipment.
• Uses hand and power tools, welding equipment and diagnostic instruments.
• Reads and interprets technical manuals, blueprints, schematics and electrical drawings.
• Supports installation and setup of new equipment or machinery.
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and inputs data into AMMS.
• Follows all safety procedures including Fall Protection, Hot Work, Confined Space and Lockout/Tagout.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, kneeling and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in noisy, dusty or hot and cold environments.
