About the Position

Job Title: Radiology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 17 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: - 2 years of registered nursing experience - 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience - Telemetry experience required License: - Registered Nurse license (New York) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association) - ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Good communication skills - Ability to think critically - Team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized Description: This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a trauma center. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team. They are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients. They also provide post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care. Experience with gastrointestinal post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging.
