What You’ll OwnEnd-to-end ownership of highly available, scalable AWS infrastructureDesign, operation, and continuous improvement of Kubernetes (EKS) platformsReliability of production systems through strong observability, automation, and SLOsCI/CD systems that enable safe, fast, and repeatable deploymentsInfrastructure defined and enforced through Terraform and GitOpsIncident response, root cause analysis, and long-term remediationRaising operational standards through automation, documentation, and best practicesTechnical Requirements:We’re looking for engineers who have actually built, run, and scaled real production systems in the following areas:Cloud & InfrastructureDeep AWS expertise - networking, compute, IAM, scaling, securityStrong experience managing infrastructure using Terraform at scaleKubernetes & Platform EngineeringVery strong Kubernetes fundamentals (internals, scheduling, networking, storage)Hands-on experience operating Amazon EKS in production environmentsExperience troubleshooting complex, multi-layer Kubernetes issuesCoding & AutomationAbility to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code in: Go/ PythonStrong automation mindset — eliminating toil through codeCI/CD & GitOpsProven experience building and operating CI/CD pipelinesHands-on experience with:GitHub (Actions or integrations)ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployment workflowsObservability & ReliabilityStrong understanding of observability principles: metrics, logs, traces, and alertingHands-on experience with Datadog or similar tool for:Infrastructure and Kubernetes monitoringApplication performance monitoring (APM)Alerting, dashboards, and incident detectionExperience defining and using SLIs/SLOs to drive reliability decisionsAbility to turn observability data into actionable operational improvementsSocure
