  As a Registered Nurse on the Med/Surg Observation unit, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for patients requiring short-term monitoring and evaluation. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families throughout the continuum.
  
  

  
  

  
  You will monitor patient conditions closely, recognize changes, and adjust care plans as neededcollaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, efficient, and effective patient outcomes.
  
  

  
  

  
  You will apply evidence-based practices and participate in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and enhance patient outcomes.
  
  

  
  

  
  You will promote a culture of safety by identifying risks, intervening appropriately, and maintaining a safe care environment.
  
  

  
  

  
  You will administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established clinical protocols while maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
