Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Screen and document incoming and outgoing deliveries, vehicles, and personnel as assigned, reporting access concerns or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
