Senior Investment Manager – Merrill Wealth Management Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. The Senior Investment Manager is responsible for defining and owning the Financial Advisor(s) and/or Advisor Team(s) overall investment management philosophy through the development of portfolio strategy, and leading a sound investment management process. Acting as team CIO, the manager will lead the investment committee for large teams, partner with internal specialists to deliver holistic investment solutions, and communicate research to clients in a concise and compelling manner. Job Responsibilities Define and own the investment management philosophy for the assigned Financial Advisor(s) or Advisor Team(s). Lead portfolio strategy development and the entire investment management process. Act as team CIO and lead the investment committee for large teams. Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver holistic investment solutions by identifying and establishing targeted investment strategies. Communicate CIO research and investment recommendations to clients in a clear and compelling manner. Ensure risk profiles, goals, objectives, and asset allocations are aligned and reflected properly for each client. Deliver a full range of products and services across the enterprise, ensuring alignment to client goals and strategies. Oversee preparation of, and present, client performance review reports to measure progress toward goals. Serve as subject‑matter expert for all investment‑related questions that come from clients. Make sound decisions through a deep understanding of investment‑management best practices, policies, and procedures with a strong risk mindset. Attend client review meetings to assist in re‑discovery conversations, capture notes in Salesforce, and track all actions and activities to ensure the highest level of client service. Identify client needs and concerns, and articulate an appropriate approach to align solutions to goals in a suitable and controlled way. Required Qualifications Series 7 and Series 63/65 (or 66) or equivalent. Must obtain and maintain all state registrations held by the Financial Advisor(s) and Advisor Team(s) they support. SAFE Act registration is required; employees must register with the federal registry system and submit to the required SAFE Act background check. ADV–2B required. CFP or CPWA designation, or to obtain/maintain at least one firm‑approved designation. Strong communication skills, superior relationship‑management skills across the Wealth Management space. Strong analytical and portfolio‑management skills, able to identify trends and implement investment strategies to increase growth and mitigate risk. Deep understanding of investment‑management best practices, policies, and procedures with a strong risk mindset. Ability to identify client needs and concerns and articulate an appropriate approach to align solutions to goals in a suitable and controlled way. Work Schedule 1st shift (United States of America), 40 hours per week. Compensation and Incentives Annualized salary range: $52,000.00 – $96,000.00, based on experience, education and skill set. The role is eligible for a formulaic incentive plan, with monthly, quarterly and/or annual incentive opportunities earned based on performance against defined metrics.
