Join our team and help shape the future of anime. About the role Senior Benefits Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Global Benefits. This is a six‑month contract, with locations in LA or SF. The role supports the day‑to‑day administration of Crunchyroll’s North America benefits programs in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Focus areas include accurate benefits processing, compliance support, data integrity, employee support, and continuous improvement of benefits operations. Core Areas of Responsibility Daily administration of health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Serve as the primary contact for employee benefits inquiries, resolving routine issues and escalating complex cases. Implement and maintain benefit plans, policies, and administrative procedures for U.S., Canadian, and Mexican programs. Support compliance activities related to U.S. federal and state regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA), applicable Canadian and Mexican requirements. Administer leave of absence programs, including U.S. FMLA and Paid Family & Medical Leave, Canadian statutory leaves, and Mexican statutory leave programs. Process benefits activities such as enrollments, life events, terminations, COBRA, beneficiary updates, and claims. Assist with retirement and savings program administration, including U.S. 401(k), Canadian RRSP, and applicable Mexican plans. Support the annual North America open enrollment process, including system configuration, data validation, employee communications, and issue resolution. Maintain accurate benefits data across Workday and vendor systems; perform audits and reconciliations. Process and audit benefits invoices, research discrepancies, and resolve billing issues with vendors. Partner with third‑party administrators, brokers, and local vendors across North America. Assist with benefits documentation, employee communications, and training materials tailored to each country. Provide reporting, analysis, and special project support to the Manager and senior team members. About You 2+ years of benefits administration or HR operations experience, supporting U.S. benefits with exposure to Canadian and/or Mexican programs. Working knowledge of North American health, welfare, and retirement programs, with a strong foundation in U.S. benefits. Familiarity with U.S., Canadian, and Mexican benefits‑related compliance requirements. Strong focus on data accuracy and compliance support.
