As our commissioning and service expert, you’ll bring new lines to life, keep critical assets running, and empower operators through training—delivering value for customers across North America.

• Location: Western Illinois (On-site) - Relocation Expenses Fully Covered
• Compensation: Hourly: $30-35/hr, x2 = $60 on overnight service calls, Could be $120- $145,000 / yearly based on hourly rate + benefits (based on qualifications), expenses paid on company card
• Travel: 60–75%

• Stage your day: review requirements, line up tools, parts, and supplies for efficient service.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical subsystems.
• Own your route: travel to customer sites, manage timelines, and communicate any schedule shifts.
• Support urgent calls after hours, including nights and weekends.
• Record equipment conditions, tests, and photos at arrival.
• Troubleshoot, source parts, calibrate to spec, and explain root cause and remedy to the customer.
• Participate in company training on emerging technologies.
• Flag opportunities for upgrades, service contracts, and adjacent services.
• Resolve complaints and issues through site visits or remote support.
• Deliver complete installations: study requirements, order components, assemble, and run acceptance tests.
• Maintain your personal equipment with proper use, PMs, and troubleshooting.
• Produce clear process documentation and timely, detailed reports.
• Safeguard confidential service information.
• Grow your expertise via ongoing education.
• Create customer-facing process documents to improve training.
• Share insights across engineering, fabrication, and controls teams.
• Cultivate strong, trust-based customer relationships.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, plans, and manuals with precision.
• Experience working with 480VAC, 3Ø in an Industrial environment.
• Service mindset with a passion for surpassing customer expectations.

• Willing to work overtime when needed.

• Food processing, packaging, or sanitary equipment experience.
• Service contract or after-sales team leadership.
• Preventive/predictive maintenance program knowledge.
• Project management or ERP familiarity.

• Frequent travel is part of the job.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

• Vehicle operation; valid driver’s license and ability to drive required.
