CNC Machinist Level III Details:

• Contract to Hire position
• $ 28.00 to $ 40.00 / hour
• Second Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:30pm)

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) to produce high-precision parts that meet strict quality and specification standards.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD models to determine machining processes, tooling, and optimal machine setup.
• Program and adjust CNC machines (G-code) to optimize performance, efficiency, and production workflows.
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and document production and inspection results.
• Partner with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure compliance with safety and manufacturing standards.

CNC Machinist Level III Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Proficient in CNC programming, including G-code, with solid knowledge of machining tools and measurement techniques
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) and familiarity with lean manufacturing and ISO quality standards preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain CNC equipment; experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical manufacturing a plus
