Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a physical therapist within a dynamic school setting. This part-time, itinerant position focuses on providing high-quality, in-person services across multiple campuses, all within a welcoming community in the Florida Panhandle. With a steady schedule and a chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and staff, you'll play a key role in enriching students’ educational experiences.

Requirements and Desired Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Florida Physical Therapist license (FL DOH)
• Experience in school-based physical therapy, especially with PK-12 age ranges
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students at various school locations
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Completion of current or transferable FL fingerprinting via AHCA Clearinghouse; willingness to obtain a JLA badge post-clearance
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to on-site-only service; virtual/remote work is not available for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person physical therapy services as prescribed by student IEPs
• Travel between multiple school sites to ensure consistent care to assigned students
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs, focusing on enhancing students’ functional abilities and participation in school activities
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student performance, progress, and goals
