POSITION: CV/IR RNSCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING Shift Hours: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Years of Experience Required: 1 year; (Experience in a multimodality lab with Cath Lab, Endovascular, and/or Interventional Radiology is preferred) Weekend Requirement: See On Call On Call Requirement: 5 weekday call shifts (6:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and 2 weekend 24-hour call shifts (may be negotiable; discussed during the interview) Charting: Epic- Required; Philips RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests: Must be included at the time of submission. Requests after offer will likely not be approved. Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes. (Depending on experience). Holiday Requirement:REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission Required Certifications: ACLS, BLSREQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS Work Settings: Diagnostic/Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab (multimodality lab with Cath Lab, Endovascular, and Interventional Radiology). Cardiac Cath & IR Procedures: Adult diagnostic/interventional caths, left/right heart caths, PCI, cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, pulmonary embolization. Monitoring: ETCO2, ACT, procedural sedation, RASS, Swan-Ganz monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, 12-lead EKG, cardioversion. Vascular: Sheath removal/monitoring, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), topical hemostasis (D-Stat, Chito-Seal, Syvek Patch), external compression devices (C-Clamp, sandbags), IV starts/maintenance, PICC care/maintenance, blood product administration, IV infusion pumps. Medications: Antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, reversal agents, thrombolytics. Safety: Isolation precautions/PPE, radiation and laser safety.UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING Scrubs: Hospital provided Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset without exception.
