As a Quality Assurance Lead within PNC's C&IB organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. Over 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience Key Responsibilities Define and implement test strategy, test plans, and quality gates for releases Design and execute manual, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing Develop and maintain automation frameworks across API and UI layers Perform API validation including request/response, authentication, and data integrity Build and execute UI automation tests using modern frameworks Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing Perform defect analysis, root cause analysis, and quality reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure early quality involvement (shift-left) Mentor team members and promote quality engineering best practices Job Description Operating in a global delivery model, brings strategic direction to testing and acts as the subject matter expert for both the quality discipline and a line of business domain(s). Leads the review of testing artifacts throughout the product life-cycle to ensure appropriate sign off and prioritization of testing work. Including coordinating test strategy, scripting and defect resolution. Including ensuring early engagement with internal partners and proactive planning to ensure quality is a core area of focus early in the product lifecycle. Take accountability for quality standards in the development, implementation and upkeep test scripts and opportunities for automation of testing products. Developing meaningful management metrics that help to gauge project health. Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement in product release. Skills Manual Testing Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies Expertise in test case design, execution, and defect management Experience in end-to-end and exploratory testing API Testing & Automation Experience with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent Knowledge of JSON/XML validation and database validation (SQL) Karate experience preferred UI Automation Hands‑on experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress Proficiency in Java, Python, or equivalent Tools & Technology CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, XRAY or similar) AI experience a plus Qualifications Bachelor's degree Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration Ability to work in fast‑paced Agile environments Ownership mindset with focus on quality, scalability, and reliability Preferred Skills Analytical Thinking Automation Controls Testing Corporate Governance Quality Assurance (QA) Quality Support Selenium Software Testing Test Case Development Usability Testing Competencies Accuracy and Attention to Detail Analytical Thinking Influencing Process Management Products and Services Software Development Life Cycle Software Quality Assurance And Testing Technical Documentation Management Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
