Job Description:
The Infrastructure Engineer will support process automation systems within a biopharma manufacturing environment, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Manufacturing Control Systems (MCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and QC systems.

Responsibilities include system administration and infrastructure support, user access management, backup and data archival activities, system patching, and audit trail review. The role involves troubleshooting automation and QC system issues, supporting root cause investigations and CAPA activities, and handling break-fix support.

Additional responsibilities include supporting system testing and startup activities, maintaining infrastructure components (firewalls, antivirus), and assisting with system documentation, requirements, and implementation support for automation projects.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with DCS, MCS, and PLC systems
• Experience supporting QC systems in regulated environments
• System administration of automation/manufacturing systems
• Experience with backup, archival, and system patching
• Experience troubleshooting automation systems and supporting investigations/CAPA
• Experience with infrastructure components (firewalls, antivirus)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in biopharma or cGMP-regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience supporting automation systems in cell culture/manufacturing plants
• Experience with validation and regulatory compliance processes
• Experience supporting automation infrastructure or system integration projects
