Custodian 2026-2027 School YearThis position completes a variety of tasks in the general care of assigned school and surrounding grounds in order to provide safe and clean school buildings for students, staff, and community.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCleans areas as assigned (i.e. rooms, halls, offices, restrooms, cafeteria, parking lots etc.).Collects recycling and trash from assigned areas.Cleans up spills (including bodily fluids) in a safe and appropriate manner.Creates work orders for maintenance repairs and responds to special requests for custodial services from staff members with supervisor approval.Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.Secures building, including locks, doors and windows, as assigned.Other related duties, as assigned.RequirementsMust be able to pass a K-12 background check.Citizenship, residency or work visa required.Preference will be given to applicants with K-12 custodial experience.Salary$18.65-24.33 per hour (2026-2027 pay scale), determined by previous relevant experience.Application ProcedureApplications are completed online at 11, 2026South Lane School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, parental or marital status, age, veterans' status or genetic information.
