Maintenance Technician

Location: Bradenton, FL
Pay: $26/hr 
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Weekend/holiday on-call rotation

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for an older community. This is a one-person maintenance team , so the ideal candidate must be highly hands-on, dependable, and able to work independently. Strong plumbing and HVAC skills are highly important.

Responsibilities

• Handle resident work orders, apartment turns, make-readies, and punch work.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, carpentry, appliances, and general maintenance .
• Perform preventative maintenance, property inspections, and improvement projects.
• Maintain grounds, work areas, and maintenance inventory.
• Provide professional resident service and communicate with Property Management.
• Participate in weekend/holiday emergency on-call rotation.
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of apartment maintenance experience required.
• Strong plumbing and HVAC experience.
• General maintenance skills across multiple trades.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently.

Preferred

• HVAC Certification
• EPA Certification
• CPO Certification
