Corporate Controller

ControllerThis position reports to the CFO of a growing manufacturing company and is responsible for managing the accounting and financial planning and analysis for the company overall. The Controller will partner with functional leadership positions across the organization, focusing on all key accounting, financial, and operational aspects of the business. This position will focus not only on accurate and timely accounting but proactive financial analysis including key performance indicators that will drive continuous improvement and manage risk.The Controller is responsible for all accounting and financial management in accordance with GAAP and includes balance sheet and income statement management; financial planning and analysis; payroll management; cash and liquidity management; contract performance and pricing analysis; forecasting; budgeting; and company asset and risk management. The Controller will utilize the company's ERP system and business intelligence tools to maximize financial visibility, accuracy, and efficiency across the organization. The Controller is also responsible for supporting timely and accurate quarterly reporting to relevant external parties along with the annual audit by an independent CPA firm.Education and Experience Requirements:B.S. Degree in AccountingCPA/CMA highly preferredMBA in Finance/Accounting a plusMinimum +7 years in a Manufacturing environmentPrior experience as an accounting manager or plant controller highly preferredExperience in implementing and managing ERP systems a must (experience with major ERP platforms a plus)Experience with multiple currencies highly preferredExperience with multiple companies/locations highly preferredStrong work ethic and initiative/commitment to getting the job doneAbility to effectively communicate across the organization, including senior management along with external partnersHighly experienced in Excel and database mining skillsStrong analytical skillsEffective presentation skillsAbility to move into the CFO role within 7 yearsCompensation and Benefits:Compensation competitive and commensurate with experienceAnnual bonus plan based on company performance and individual performance against goals and objectivesBenefits include Medical/Dental/Disability/Vacation/401K match
