Job Summary
Medical Surgical Chemotherapy Certified Oncology RN located at the organization's infusion center, this role involves providing specialized care to oncology patients. The position primarily focuses on administering chemotherapy and supportive therapies in an outpatient setting, with opportunities to also perform lab duties such as drawing labs from subcutaneous portacaths and managing infusion pumps and central line dressings. The nurse may be scheduled for day shifts with no weekend or call requirements.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience or credentialing in outpatient oncology infusion preferred, including ONS Chemotherapy/ Biotherapy certification
  • Location Requirement: Must be licensed in the state where the position is located
  • No minimum years of experience required

• Schedule:

  • Shift Time: Days
  • Shift Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours

• Additional Information:

  • The role involves administering intravenous medications, including blood products, anti-neoplastics, and supportive therapies
  • Responsibilities include drawing labs off of subcutaneous portacaths, removing home infusion pumps, and performing central line dressing changes
  • No weekend or call requirements unless specific oncology infusion experience and certification are present
