Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:

As a Commercial HVAC Installer, you will take ownership of commercial and light residential installations, overhauls, and retrofits across the Yellowstone region.

• Lead Complex Installs: Install, align, and commission commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems—including chillers, heat pumps, boilers, hydronic heating loops, and rooftop units.

• Troubleshoot & Diagnose: Handle high-level mechanical, control, and electrical diagnostics on both scheduled projects and complex service overhauls.

• Blueprint Execution: Read and execute blueprints, piping schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications with precision.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure every job meets strict local codes, safety guidelines, and our internal standard of clean, high-grade craftsmanship.

• On-Site Leadership: Guide junior installers on site, coordinate with facility directors, and represent Glacier HVAC/R with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Journeyman HVAC License preferred (or equivalent proven master-level field experience).

• Experience: 3 years of hands-on commercial HVAC/R installation and service experience.

• Equipment Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in boilers, hydronic heating loops, commercial chillers, and heat pumps.

• Certifications: EPA Universal Certification required; valid driver's license with a clean driving rec ord.

• Mindset: Self-motivated problem-solver who takes genuine pride in clean piping, proper commissioning, and quality work.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift 75+ lbs and navigate rooftops, mechanical rooms, and crawlspaces across changing seasonal weather.
