Quality Control Inspector –Both Day and Night Shift Available

Night Shift: Sun–Thu

• Sun: 12:00 a.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Mon–Thu: 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Day Shift: Mon–Thu, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

You’ll perform detailed inspections and testing throughout all stages of production. This includes using calipers, reading blueprints, documenting results, removing nonconforming products, and approving finished goods for shipment. You’ll support continuous improvement and work closely with Production teams.

• Quality Inspections — Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications, drawings, and standards.
• Process Monitoring — Check each stage of production to prevent and reduce defects.
• Nonconformance Removal — Identify, document, and remove defective items.
• Final Approval — Approve finished goods before shipping.
• Measurement Tools — Use calipers and tape measures for accurate checks.
• Blueprint Reading — Verify dimensions and features from drawings.
• Documentation — Maintain accurate inspection logs and audit‑ready records.
• Audits & Calibrations — Participate in audits and verify equipment functionality.
• Production Collaboration — Work with Production to ensure only approved products move forward.
• Corrective Actions — Recommend solutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Process Improvements — Suggest improvements within equipment and process capabilities.
• Safety & Compliance — Follow all quality and safety policies.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership.

• 2+ years in quality control/inspection or related field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Accurate use of calipers and tape measures
• Strong documentation and computer skills
• High attention to detail
• Solid problem‑solving abilities
• Team‑oriented with independent initiative
• Ability to work night shift hours

• Visual inspection experience
• Manufacturing experience (plastics/extrusion preferred)
• Familiarity with document control
• Comfortable working with production teams
• Adaptable and improvement‑focused

You’ll join a production‑focused environment where quality directly impacts the final product. The role offers stable shifts, hands‑on experience with manufacturing processes, and opportunities to support continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with production teams and use a variety of measurement tools daily.

• Manufacturing plant producing extruded PVC products
• Night shift schedule: Sun–Thu
• Dirty, dusty, and loud environment
• Not temperature controlled (hot/cold depending on season)
• Frequent walking around active production areas
• Required PPE: jeans, plain shirt, steel‑toe boots, safety glasses
• Ear plugs provided and required
• Daily use of calipers, tape measures, and other tools

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $22.55 - $23.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
