It serves as the primary airport for Southern Arizona and is a hub for domestic and international flights. The airport features two runways and a single terminal with concourses A and B. TUS offers a range of services and amenities, including various dining options, shopping outlets, and rental car services.

LPN - RESPONSIBILITIES

• The LPN provides patient education.
• Carry out physician and therapeutic devices such as respiratory and electrocardiograph machines and other medical equipment and supplies.
• Measure and assess vital signs, height, weight, and neurological status, visual acuity, and hearing.
• The LPN screens patients for alcohol dependence, depression, etc.
• Collaborate and coordinate patient care with other health care providers.
• Perform quality control for capillary blood glucose monitoring checks, fridge temperature checks etc.
• Collect or assist in collection of lab specimens where applicable.
• Recognize life-threatening emergencies, initiate, and maintain resuscitation measures and other emergency procedures as appropriate to the situation.
• Recognize adverse reactions to medications, treatments and procedures and initiate interventions as appropriate to the situation.
• The LPN answers and screens telephone calls, take off and initiate medical orders.

LPN - REQUIREMENTS

• Years of Experience: minimum of (2) years of experience as a licensed practical nurse.
• Minimum Education: A.S. Degree from an Accredited Nursing School Program.
• Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support).
