Derek DeLisle State Farm is seeking a motivated, personable, and dependable Telemarketer – State Farm Agent Team Member to support agency growth through outbound calling, lead follow-up, and appointment setting. Our office serves approximately 3,300 households and 9,000 policies in the Hayward community. We are looking for someone who can represent our office professionally, build rapport quickly, and turn conversations into opportunities for our licensed insurance team. This is not simply about making a high volume of calls. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, comfortable with sales, and a strong fit for our team.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers and agency leads.
• Follow up with prospective customers who have previously expressed interest.
• Introduce prospects to the agency and identify opportunities for further insurance conversations.
• Schedule appointments and qualified follow-up opportunities for licensed team members.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of calls, leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
• Conduct consistent follow-up with leads throughout the prospecting process.
• Assist with agency marketing and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Meet established calling, appointment-setting, and activity goals.
• Work closely with the agency team to support overall sales and growth objectives.
• Provide a professional and personable first impression of the agency.

• Insurance experience or licensing is a plus, but not required for consideration for appropriate non-licensed activities.

Compensation & Incentives

• Starting compensation: approximately $35,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, and responsibilities.
• Performance bonuses: Eligibility for performance-based bonuses every six months when established requirements are met.
• Licensed candidates: May qualify for a sign-on bonus.
• Licensing incentive: Eligible team members may receive a bonus upon obtaining required insurance licensing.
• Paid time off (PTO).
• Health insurance and retirement benefits are not currently offered.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
