Travel Occupational Therapist

Travel Occupational Therapist needed for a 13-week hospital assignment in El Dorado, Kansas. This role supports patient independence through assessment, individualized treatment, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The contract offers guaranteed 40 hours per week with compensation up to $2,660 weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
3. Provide therapeutic interventions to support daily living and mobility
4. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
5. Educate patients and families on adaptive equipment and techniques
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility standards

Qualifications:

• Active OT license in Kansas (or eligibility)
• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• NBCOT certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1+ year of clinical experience (hospital or acute care preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
