Nursing Responsibilities

As an LPN or RN, you’ll provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care while supporting residents’ health, safety, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.

• Monitor residents’ conditions and recognize and report changes in health status.

• Administer medications and treatments within the scope of your nursing license.

• Monitor vital signs and document resident assessments and care accurately.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support residents’ individual care needs.

• Follow established procedures for medication administration, narcotic counts, and clinical documentation.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and the interdisciplinary care team.

• Document and report changes in residents’ conditions, including nutritional concerns, infections, skin conditions, and other clinical observations.

• Follow individualized care plans and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and quality of life throughout the night shift.

QualificationsLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Current, active LPN license in the state of Missouri.

• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Skilled nursing, nursing home, or long-term care experience preferred.

• Strong communication, clinical documentation, and teamwork skills.

Registered Nurse (RN)

• Current, active RN license in the state of Missouri.

• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Skilled nursing, nursing home, or long-term care experience preferred.

• Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills.

New graduates and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply, based on facility hiring requirements.
