Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers a dynamic opportunity for a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in prescription verification and clinical accuracy. The position is based in Missouri City, TX, and is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity, providing a pathway to permanent employment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct final verification of compounded prescriptions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Review prescription orders for clinical appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and patient safety considerations, including drug interactions and formulation integrity
- Ensure all labeling requirements are met prior to dispensing medications
Qualifications:
- Possess a clear and active Texas Pharmacist license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a pharmacist, with preference given to those experienced in a closed-door pharmacy environment
