Hospice Registered Nurse

Apply nursing theories and concepts to provide comprehensive patient care. Document care in accordance with reimbursement guidelines. Coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel at all levels. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure in the state of practice. Successful completion of nursing education from an approved school. Two years of clinical nursing experience; hospice experience preferred. Knowledge of home health and hospice care frameworks, policies, and reimbursement guidelines. Completion of 12 hours of continuing education annually. CPR certification. Ability to travel, with availability for weekend, evening, and holiday call assignments.
