Receptionist Position

Join Mike Stuckey State Farm, a trusted insurance agency committed to providing exceptional service and comprehensive insurance solutions to our clients. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our office and support our team in delivering outstanding customer experiences.

As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers. Your warm and professional demeanor will help create a positive experience for everyone who interacts with our agency. You will manage front desk operations, assist with administrative tasks, and support our insurance agents and staff to ensure smooth day-to-day office functioning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
• Manage scheduling of appointments and maintain calendars for insurance agents
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area
• Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed
• Provide basic information about insurance products and services or direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member
• Support the team with document preparation and client communication

Qualifications:

• Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software
• Basic knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

• Our office is located in North Charleston.
• Our office is open M-F 9a-5p.
• I have been a State Farm agent since 2018.
• Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
• We currently have 6 team members at our agency.
• We have 50 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
• Our agency has received awards including: Chairman's Circle, Ambassador Travel, and Legion of Honor
