Key Responsibilities For The Assistant Controller:
Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Oversee cash management, including rolling 13-week cash forecasting and liquidity planning. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analyses. Manage accounting team members, including AP and accounting staff, while developing department talent. Support audits, consolidations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, lease accounting, and internal controls. Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications For The Assistant Controller:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and month-end close responsibilities. Prior leadership experience managing accounting staff. Strong experience with general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and cash management.
