Service Desk Technician I — Managed Services

$50,000–$55,000/year

We're a Honolulu-based Managed Service Provider supporting small and mid-sized businesses across Oahu — dealerships, medical practices, law firms, and more. We run on a simple philosophy: low-drama, high-trust IT. We're looking for a Service Desk Technician I to join our team and grow with us.

This is a great fit if you've got about a year of hands-on IT support experience, strong customer instincts, and you want a clear path to level up.

What you'll do

• Handle day-to-day support tickets: workstation issues, M365 questions, printers, peripherals, connectivity
• Troubleshoot confidently, and know when to escalate to Tier 2
• Set up and deploy workstations and hardware
• Communicate clearly with clients — patience and plain language matter more than jargon here
• Document what you did so the next tech has it easier
• Head onsite around Oahu as needed (valid license + reliable car required)
• Share in an after-hours on-call rotation (roughly 1 week in 4; on-call stipend paid; most nights stay quiet)

What you bring

• 1+ year of hands-on IT support experience (MSP, consulting, or in-house help desk)
• Working familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows, and basic networking
• Comfort with workstation setup and everyday troubleshooting
• Genuinely good communication and customer service skills
• Solid time management — you can juggle a ticket queue without dropping things
• CompTIA A+ required within 90 days of hire (we'll support your study and cover the exam)

Where this goes
We promote from within. Strong Tier 1 techs move to Tier 2 (and Tier 2 pay) on a clear timeline, and we pay you more as you earn certs. Network+ and Security+ are supported and incentivized here — not required to start.
