Lead a high-performing research team to advance breakthrough discoveries Set and execute a forward-looking research strategy aligned with BeOne Institute’s mission Foster a collaborative environment translating innovative ideas into transformative medicines Explore emerging scientific approaches, including AI-enabled discovery, chemical biology, and multiomic technologies Identify novel therapeutic opportunities and drive future pipeline innovation Evaluate and apply emerging technologies and data-driven approaches, including AI, genomics, multiomic analysis, chemical biology, and large-scale biological data analytics Establish clear program goals and milestones to drive scientific excellence and delivery Communicate progress through regular updates Identify challenges proactively and propose solutions Build and develop a high-performing team while supporting professional growth, technical expertise, and scientific independence Lead cross-disciplinary and cross-functional collaborations Drive innovation within and beyond the Institute Requirements Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree in cancer biology, cancer immunology, immunology, protein engineering, AI-driven protein design, chemical biology, computational biology, multiomic sciences, or a related life sciences discipline 5+ years of experience or equivalent with a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent Substantial post-degree professional experience in academia and/or industry Strong track record of contributions to drug discovery or impactful scientific achievements Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and interdisciplinary research environment Ability to integrate multidisciplinary approaches to solve complex biological problems Scientific leadership to build and sustain collaborative relationships across functional and disciplinary boundaries Experience providing scientific guidance and mentorship in a collaborative team environment Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Supervisory experience or capability; supervisory responsibilities apply Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading research teams and driving innovation in drug discovery through advanced knowledge in cancer biology, AI-driven protein design, and multiomic technologies.
