Our Team, Your Impact
This position will be responsible for managing key customers accounts and providing support for all pricing related activities.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.
- This role requires high level of attention to detail and organization. The individual will manage several accounts and ensure all pricing information is up to date.
- Some of the pricing activities the individual will be responsible for include: sending offers for New Product Launch, product removal notice, Price Increase & Decrease communication, NDC Transition, RFP processing & submission & credit processing.
- This role requires cross functional communication and coordination with Accounts Receivable, Chargeback, Finance & Customer Analytics team.
- This role requires use of several systems to implement and communicate customer pricing. The individual will be responsible for sending customer offers and processing the customer response in a timely manner. The individual will also cross train on other accounts to be able to provide back up support.
- Systems that will be used: PriceRight, Flex, SAP
Your Skills and Experience
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ year’s experience in generic pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Bachelor’s degree required (Preferably in Business, Science or related field)
- Minimum of 2 years in pricing, sales, marketing and/or finance in the generic pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
Also Good to Have
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Microsoft Access, PriceRight, Flex, SAP
- Understanding of generic pharmaceutical supplier and/or purchaser business model, business terms, payment/billing/accrual processes.
- SAP knowledge preferred
Salary Range
The annual starting salary for this position is between $83,200 – $98,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
